It was Burning Man 2003, That started it all.

This very Dragon, known as Draka along with
the burning of the man at Black Rock City
That hammered the building of the Jetski in
my mind.

The whole concept was developed within the
coming weeks, I was non stop. The entire
project of a watercraft that had an Island
theme was in the works even though it was
just in my mind.
It started with a fascination of the Art Cars that were abound in the small temporary City known as Black Rock. However
meeting Draka was a rare site to behold. A 120 ft Dragon car that spat fire 50 ft out in front and shook the ground for 2
miles.
That Saturday evening when they burned the Man, Tanya and I were standing directly down wind when a piece of hot ash
from the Man laid on my left shoulder and burned into my flesh, This is called a kiss from the Man himself.
It was at that moment that I said "I am going to build a tropical themed watercraft that drives on land, in 2005 we will
return to Burning Man and spray water on the Dragon's tail."
Little did I know that in May of 2004, Draka arrived in Houston for the Houston Art car Parade and her new home. During
the Art car ball before the parade I had my revenge and sprayed water on the dragon's tail. Little did I know that on
Saturday in the parade line up,
Drake was directly behind us. We were followed by the very same Car that inspired me. It was truly an event I will never
forget. There was one time in the parade that we stopped directly under the Dragon's mouth with her beard sitting on
Tanya's head.
