Systems installed..........
Lighting System:
6 white strobes
4 color strobes
2 tiki torch lights, inside and top
2 flamingo lights (for glow effect)
6 sprayer lights
Several camp fire lights on the bow
Several aqua lights on rear sides (in the water beads)
Tail and brake lights, separate relay
55 watt head lights, separate switch
150 ft of E.L. wire and cold cathodes operated from a
separate 4.5-12 voltage regulator
4 purple tube lights, 3 at rear and 1 in engine
compartment using mirrors for reflection.
4 green lights underneath
A Cannon that shoots Twinkies 40 yards, It will shoot
anything I can fit in the tube.
Stereo System:
Pioneer DEH-P7700MP 200 watt Mosfet
Orion 260 cobalt amp, 240 watt
Sirius Pioneer Module Satellite receiver
FM Modulator for connection of I-POD or DVD player
4 120 watt speakers connected to stereo
2 240 watt speakers hooked up to the Amp
Ignition and Starting System:
Magneto ignition with kill switch.
Fuel switch & starter on relay operated by having main
switch & fuel switch on at the same time.
Starter safety switch, connected to the brake.
Clutch safety switch.
Charging System:
65 amp Chevy Alternator with built-in regulator.
12 Volt Interstate Battery, (Yeah, a big one).
Sprayer System:
6 Sprayers, 2 fore, 2 mid, 2 aft operated by 3 push
button switches and 3 separate pumps supplied by a 3 gallon
water tank.
Remote System:
This system allows me to operate the fwd, mid and aft
sprayers from at least 100 ft away.
Power Plant:
Engine is a 15 hp. Kohler single cylinder.
Hydrostatic Transmission
Drive System:
Belt driven, of course (ex-lawn mower)
Top speed is 5.7 mph.
Operation:
Rita now sits on a John Deere frame as of 7/12/08
All of 'Rita's controls, including the steering wheel, were
hand-fabricated and fitted through the Jetski body to fit
the original John Deere Frame.
Safety System:
There are 3 switches to control the engine: Ignition, Fuel,
and Main Power. Without the fuel switch in the "on"
position, the starter will not operate.
In an emergency, any of these 3 switches may be pulled
back to kill the engine.
