WHO WE ARE
I could be coming soon to an event near you.
I am a Parrot Head. I know how and what started it, I know exactly when and where it started. But
where will it end. Right now I am hanging on to this big round ball and not letting go. I am a member of
the Galveston Bay Parrot head Club the North East Texas Parrot Head Club, the Arizona Parrot Head
Club, The Central Texas Parrothead Club and a member of the Margarita mafia. We are not Parrot
Heads because we are Jimmy Buffett fans. We are Parrot Heads because, we love the ocean, the
planet and to have fun. We are not afraid to act silly, foolish, nor are we afraid of love. We are
Parrot Heads because we like scantily clad members of the opposite sex, playing in the sun with those
same members and singing songs that say all those things. We are Parrot Heads because we believe
the best things in life cannot be bought, sharing the best things makes them better and we believe in
the innate goodness in all of us. We are Parrot Heads because, we know shared joy is increased, we
know shared pain is lessened. We know a good friend has value beyond measure. It just so happens
that jimmy Buffett sings about all these things. So, we are not Parrot Heads because we are Jimmy
Buffett fans. We are Jimmy Buffett fans because we are Parrot Heads.
